QUEENSLAND'S LARGEST TOWING COMPANY EXPANDS HINO-HEAVY FLEET

Queensland's largest towing transport company has expanded its operation with the addition of a new Hino 500 Series truck, bringing the number of Hino trucks in its current fleet to 83.

The latest in Brisbane-based Ready Towing's fleet of over 200 specialised tow vehicles is a Hino 500 Series FD 1124 with six-speed manual transmission, fitted with an Australian-built ATB Engineering low-loader tilt-slide tray.

Ready Towing was the first Australian company to adopt these specialised trays in 2010 which enable the trucks to transport modern low road-clearance vehicles.

More than 90 per cent of the low-loader trays used by Ready Towing are fitted to a Hino 500 Series chassis.

Sci-Fleet Hino, one of Australia's largest Hino dealerships, has supplied and serviced Ready Towing's Hino fleet for over 25 years.

Fleet manager and third-generation member of the Ready Towing family Jack Ready said the service team at Sci-Fleet Hino is the key ingredient in ensuring its business success.

"We pride ourselves on being reliable when assisting others. We can't afford to have any downtime and that's why we rely on Hino for our servicing," Mr Ready said.

"We have the peace of mind of knowing that our trucks are serviced with genuine parts and fluids. I'm a great believer that using 'no name' parts equals no guarantee of performance.

"The confidence we have in the reliability Hino offers is what keeps us coming back for more."

In addition to the Hino genuine parts and fluids used in servicing, Ready Towing's fleet of Hino trucks are fitted with a selection of eye-catching genuine accessories such as polished alloy bull bars and wheel covers to accent the trucks' distinctive yellow colour scheme.

Hino genuine accessories extend to the interior of the trucks with the addition of canvas seat covers and rubber floor mats.

Ready Towing operates as a trusted RACQ contractor with 20 Hino trucks dedicated to breakdown towing service.

Ready Towing began operating in 1961 and is one of Queensland's largest towing transport companies with a fleet of more than 200 vehicles.
