More than 40,000 Hino truck owners are being offered the opportunity to get their brakes inspected by factory-trained technicians - free of charge.

Hino Motor Sales Australia is making the offer to ensure its customers have the best safety protection.

Hino Australia parts manager Peter Michetti said the free brake inspection only takes about 15 minutes to complete, but suggested owners should call ahead to make a booking with their local Hino Service Centre.

"It is important for safety and peace of mind for owners and drivers to have their brakes in top working order, so we think the free inspection is a worthwhile initiative that will benefit of our customers," said Mr Michetti.

"Keeping your vehicle in top condition also makes good business sense because well-serviced vehicles are better value in the long run, with lower running costs and higher resale values.

"Having the brakes checked by trained and experienced Hino technicians ensures top performance, and we also guarantee that any further work carried out will be competitively priced."

In addition to the free inspection, Hino Australia is also offering special prices on full front and rear brake relines for a wide range of Hino vehicles.

All Hino trucks and buses built between 2000 and 2010 qualify for the special brake reline prices, including Ranger, Ranger Pro, Dutro, 300 Series, 500 Series and 700 Series models.
